Is my Kingston Fury Renegade DDR4 RAM sufficient for upgrading to a 5060 GPU?

I'm considering upgrading my graphics card to a 5060, but I've heard that RAM could limit performance. My CPU is an R7 5800X, which should be fine, but will my Kingston Fury Renegade DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz hold me back?

Your RAM won’t limit performance. Games primarily rely on the GPU, and while the CPU can be a factor, 3600MT/s RAM is commonly used with 5000 series AMD CPUs. Just focus on your GPU!

Your Kingston Fury Renegade 3600MHz RAM is great and should work well with your setup. Many consider it to be pretty much the sweet spot for the AM4 platform. You should be good to go!

I really don't think upgrading to a 5060 is worth it. You'll only get 8GB of VRAM, which won't be enough soon. Consider saving for something like the 5070 instead for better long-term value.

Honestly, the DDR4-3600 is optimal for your AM4 configuration. It shouldn’t be a bottleneck, so no worries there! As for the GPU upgrade, I’d think carefully about that too.
