Is my laptop safe after using a wet charger?

About a week ago, I accidentally spilled some milk on half of my laptop charger while it was still plugged in. I decided to get a new charger since milk got into one of the ports, and I didn't want to risk using it. Now, after using the new charger while gaming, I've noticed that my CPU temperatures are about 10 degrees higher than usual. Is this just a coincidence, or could there be damage from the spill affecting my laptop?

I doubt the charger itself would change your CPU temps. Unless the old charger was unpowered, your new charger should function just fine. It's possible that something else is causing the temperature spike, so I'd recommend checking your system for any other issues.

If the old charger short-circuited, that might have led to some issues. However, if the new charger is working well, it's more likely that your CPU temps are just fluctuating due to high usage from gaming. Keep an eye on it, but monitor the performance.
