I've been experiencing some frustrating issues with my M.2 drive that has Windows installed on it. Every time I boot up my PC, it has to do a scan and repair, which happens without fail. Recently, my computer has also been freezing occasionally and black screening. I've tried various methods to repair the drive, including scanning it through properties and using command prompt commands. Sometimes the system runs fine for a day, but other times it crashes several times an hour. I'm looking for any advice or solutions.

For safety, I'd say get a new M.2 drive and an M.2 USB-C enclosure to clone your data before the existing drive completely fails. You could also format the old M.2 after cloning and see how it works with a fresh install. It might be worth testing your system with the new drive too.
Make sure to check for any firmware updates for your SSD. They come out regularly to fix bugs and performance issues, and an update might help resolve the problems you’re facing.
There's a recovery code you can enter in the RUN dialog when starting Windows that might help fix your drive. Just Google it to find the specific command!
I'll definitely look it up, thanks!
Honestly, just replace the drive. It's a pretty low-cost fix compared to the hassle of dealing with potential data loss.
If your drive isn't completely dead yet, I'd recommend replacing it soon and trying to recover your data while you still can. It's better to spend a little on a new drive now than risk losing everything later.
I'm planning to overhaul my PC in a couple of weeks, so I think I'll just wipe the drive and reinstall Windows on it.
That sounds like a solid plan! But since I'm building a new PC soon, I'll likely just wipe it and reinstall Windows.
