Is My Parts List for Upgrading Worth It?

I'm planning to upgrade my setup from a Ryzen 5 1400 and GTX 1050 for gaming. I'm particularly interested in titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, 7 Days to Die, and Arma 3. I want to know if my parts list is solid or if there's something I should switch out for better performance. I've heard there are issues with the Ryzen 5 5500 and the Arc B580. Can anyone suggest a better AMD or Intel option that fits my budget of around $800 to $850? I'm aiming for 720p gaming with this upgrade.

What are your current components? It might be possible to just upgrade your CPU and GPU without changing everything. If you can share your existing setup on PC Part Picker, I can help refine your selection for a better performance boost.

It's a prebuilt Acer Aspire GX-281. I feel like retrofitting it might not be worth the effort unless it's easier than I expect.
