I'm in a bit of a quandary about my recent PC build choice. I went with the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti instead of the 9070 XT mainly because I prefer NVIDIA due to DLSS 4 and just generally feel more comfortable with their setup. But now I'm wondering if I made the right decision. Here's my build:

- Graphics Card: Asus Prime GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X
- RAM: 32GB (16GBx2) DDR5 CL30
- Cooler: Frozen A620
- Motherboard: MSI B850
- Power Supply: 850W Gold Mag A850GL
- Case: M1 Foifkin

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just a heads-up — your RAM setup with 32GB is great for future-proofing. Make sure you’re looking at DDR5-6000 CL30 as that’s the sweet spot for AMD processors right now. And what's your main use case, gaming or creative work? That might help figure out if the 9700X is the best choice for you.

No mistakes here! The 5070 Ti is a great choice if you're satisfied with the performance. I’ve been using the 4070 Ti and love it. Just make sure your cooler is adequate since the 9700X can run hot. Plus, you've got a good upgrade path in the future, which is always a bonus!

Thanks! I’m hoping to enjoy my first build with AMD as well!

Your build looks pretty solid overall, but I'd suggest looking into the cooler. The A620 cooler is budget-friendly but might struggle with the 9700X under heavy loads. A stronger cooler would make a big difference. Also, your choice between the 5070 Ti and 9070 XT is fine; both can handle 1440p gaming well! I would recommend considering a B650 or even X670 motherboard for optimal performance.

I think the 5070 Ti is a solid pick, especially with DLSS 4. Comfort is a valid reason to go with a GPU you trust; it can significantly enhance your experience. Everything seems compatible in your build, so you should be good to go!

Exactly! Plus, it’s only about 5% less powerful — not a huge drawback for that comfort.

You might want to consider upgrading to a B850 motherboard for better stability and features. Everything else looks fine, but don’t skimp on cooling!
