Is My PC Build Good for Browsing and Casual Gaming?

I'm planning to build a new PC primarily for browsing with many Chrome tabs open (like a million!), and I might play some unmodded Minecraft if it can run at 60 FPS with Optifine. I have a budget of $1000 maximum and have already put together a parts list that comes to around $900. Here's what I'm considering:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 7600
- Cooler: Noctua NH-U12A
- Motherboard: ASRock B650M PG Lightning Wifi
- RAM: GSkill Flare X5 32 GB
- Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB
- Case: Fractal Design North ATX
- Power Supply: Corsair RM850x

Before I purchase anything, I'd love some feedback on my choices. Specifically, I have a few questions:
1. Should I spend the extra $20 to upgrade to the 7600x?
2. Is the motherboard a good deal at $120?
3. Do I need a GPU, or will the 7600's iGPU suffice for web browsing and listening to Spotify?
4. Am I overdoing it with the case and power supply? I really want a quiet build, so I'm open to spending more for that.

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend spending the extra cash on the 7600x. It runs hotter and you wouldn’t get a cooler with it anyway. Your motherboard sounds fine at that price, and you don’t need a GPU for your needs, especially since the iGPU is more than enough for browsing and light gaming. I think your case choice is personal preference, but your PSU is definitely more than you need for now; a well-rated 400-550w would be adequate.

For just $20 more, the 7600x gives a slight performance boost, but if you're using a custom cooler, you might prefer sticking with the 7600 since it comes with one. The ASRock motherboard at $120 is a solid choice and should work well for you. As for the GPU, you probably won’t need it for basic tasks. Your power supply is a bit overkill unless you're planning to upgrade later, but your case is more about looks and airflow, so you should be good there.

If you really want to have a million Chrome tabs open and play Minecraft, consider getting 64 GB RAM instead. That’ll handle everything smoothly! Also, if you're in the USA, I can help you optimize your parts list on PC part picker.

The Ryzen 5 7600x is a bit faster than the 7600, but the performance difference isn't huge. If you're going for higher clock speeds and can handle the heat, then go for the 7600x. Otherwise, the 7600 should be fine for your use case since its iGPU should handle your daily tasks well, including Minecraft. Also, if you're focused on silence, the 7600 will run cooler, letting fans spin slower for less noise.

Also, rather than Optifine for Minecraft, check out Sodium and Iris. They offer better performance and fewer bugs! And if you're still unsure, have you thought about going for a prebuilt? It might save you a lot of hassle and come with warranties.
