Hey everyone! I've put together a PC build and I'm wondering if I'm making any mistakes or if I should consider upgrading or downgrading certain parts. Here's what I have:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X (12-Core, 4.7 GHz)
- Cooler: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro A-RGB 360 77 CFM
- Motherboard: MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI ATX AM5
- RAM: Silicon Power Value Gaming 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- SSD: Samsung 990 Pro w/Heatsink 2 TB PCIe 4.0 NVME
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24 GB
- Case: Corsair 3500X ARGB Mid Tower
- PSU: MSI MAG A750BN 750W 80+ Bronze
I'm mainly using this build for gaming on a 1440p 180Hz monitor. Any advice? Thanks!

I've got to say, your build looks great overall! However, consider swapping your CPU. The Ryzen 9 7900X is quite powerful for gaming purposes. You might want to look at the 7600X3D or 7800X3D, which could be more cost-effective. Also, the PSU feels a bit on the weaker side for such a powerful setup—maybe look for an 850W or even a 1000W for better safety.

Appreciate the help! Do you think the motherboard suits the other parts?

Yeah, I also noticed that—your motherboard shouldn't hold you back, it’s solid!

Just curious about your plans for this build. What's the main use?

Purely gaming!

Overall, I think your build has a lot of quality parts! Just a heads up about the PSU; it could be cutting it close. I'd suggest checking out something like the Montech CENTURY II 1050W or similar. If you're only gaming at 1080p/1440p, consider dropping to the 7700X for a more balanced performance. Your SSD choice is solid too, even if it's a bit pricier.

Thanks! I’m thinking about downgrading the CPU since it might be a bit overkill.
