I'm aiming to complete my full PC build by early 2026, but I've been facing some challenges, especially with the recent rise in RAM prices. Currently, here's what I have:
- GPU: GTX 1660 Super
- CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
- Motherboard: Asrock A320M
- Power Supply: Corsair CX550
- RAM: 2x8GB DDR4
I was initially prepared to invest in DDR5 sticks, and I had my eyes on an RTX 5070 at a good deal. However, they have been hard to come by in my country, so I've decided to stick with DDR4 for now. My revised build includes:
- GPU: RTX 5070
- CPU: i5 14600KF
- Motherboard: Still undecided, but I'd like one with Bluetooth (suggestions welcome!)
- Power Supply: MSI A850GL
- RAM: same 2x8GB DDR4
Does this setup make sense? I know it's not the perfect scenario, but I'm concerned about my limited options. Any suggestions or changes I should consider?

Your build looks solid for the most part! I would suggest considering a motherboard like the B580 to ensure compatibility with your CPU. Also, upgrading your RAM to 32GB would make a significant difference. You can either sell your current kit and buy a new 32GB set or just add another 16GB stick, ensuring the frequencies match. Trust me, not upgrading will hold your performance back a bit.

Absolutely, I'm definitely looking to upgrade to 32GB eventually. It's just been tricky to find RAM sticks lately, even DDR4. Initially, I wanted to go up to 64GB DDR5, but I'll probably stick with 16GB for now and upgrade later. Thanks for the insight!
