Is My PC Configuration a Good Choice or a Waste of Money?

Hey everyone! I'm new to building PCs and trying to get the right setup for my basic needs and support. I've chosen the **Ryzen 5 5600G** as my processor and a **B550M** motherboard. Now, I'm looking at **16GB DDR4 (2x8GB, 3200MHz CL16)** RAM. My main question is: will this RAM work well with my chosen processor? I read that the processor's graphics frequency is **1900 MHz**. Does that mean I'm effectively limited to that speed for the RAM, even though it's rated for **3200 MHz**? I'm kinda confused by all this information. Apologies for my bad English!

If you're planning on gaming, consider getting a dedicated GPU too. Just keep an eye on your overall budget.

Just to clarify, the graphics core frequency and memory speed aren't the same thing—they operate separately.

You'll want to enable 'Expo' in your BIOS to make sure that your RAM runs at its advertised speed. It's a simple way to get the most out of your setup!

In an AM4 build, this might be called DOCP instead of Expo.

Definitely stick with that 3200 MHz RAM. Ryzen processors really benefit from faster RAM, and that's the upper limit for your CPU. Just think of MHz in context—it's not as straightforward across different architectures. Your integrated GPU might not require super-fast RAM, but your CPU will definitely benefit from it!

Thanks for that clarification!
