I noticed something strange happening with my PC this morning. Normally, my RAM usage is around 23-30%, but today it jumped to about 75%. When I opened Task Manager, the usage dropped back down to normal, but as soon as I closed it, the RAM usage shot back up again. I'm really concerned that something might be wrong. Can anyone help me figure this out?

You shouldn't jump to conclusions about being hacked. High RAM usage doesn't necessarily mean something malicious is going on. Have you checked which applications are running when your memory spikes? Sometimes, certain programs or processes can be memory hogs. If you don’t see anything suspicious, it might just be a system hiccup.
It sounds like your RAM usage spike could just be a temporary glitch. Sometimes, when you open Task Manager, it clears up some memory that's sort of hanging around in the background. But if your PC is freezing and your cursor stops moving after closing Task Manager, that could indicate a deeper issue—possibly some background program using up memory resources or even malware. You might want to run a full virus scan just to be safe.
