Is my PC infected after downloading cracked software?

I recently downloaded a cracked version of Vegas Pro along with several cracked plugins. Since then, my computer has been running really slow, and my Battle.net account has been hacked — they changed all the security details. I've run a Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool scan, CCleaner, and Windows Security, but nothing shows up. I still feel like my system is compromised. The hacker somehow accessed my email security codes and altered my Battle.net credentials. I really don't want to reinstall Windows because I just did that yesterday, and I want to keep my software without downloading any viruses. What should I do?

Look, I get it, software can be pricey. But downloading cracked versions just brings headaches. Best advice: format your PC and start fresh. Don’t trust any backups either; they might carry the infection. And seriously, pay for the software next time. The creators put in work for that.

Honestly, it sounds like you've got some nasty malware hiding in there. Your best bet might be to bite the bullet and reinstall Windows. Just make sure to do it from a clean USB drive on a different machine if possible. Also, change all your passwords immediately—like, every single one. Don't take any chances!

Yeah man, you’ve learned a tough lesson here. It sucks, but if you suspect you've been hacked and everything's been tampered with, a full reset is your safest option. And don’t forget to secure your email and any other accounts—change those passwords ASAP.

Installing cracked software is a risky game. It's likely you’ve got some kind of virus or malware that won’t just disappear with a cleanup tool. If you really don't want to reinstall, at least consider using a virtual machine next time you want to test something like that. It’s safer for your main PC.

Just a heads up, if you're gonna dabble in cracked software again, first try it in a virtual machine. It's just an extra layer of safety. But in your case, a clean install looks like the way to go to ensure your system is secure.
