Hey everyone! Hope you're having a fantastic day. Earlier this year, I upgraded my computer, including getting a new power supply and graphics card. Recently, I've been facing issues where new games like Marvel Rivals and the new DOOM are crashing or having significant bugs. It seems like every time I launch them, my computer completely crashes. I've looked around some forums and noticed that a lot of people are experiencing similar problems, but there doesn't seem to be a clear fix yet.
I've run benchmarks and stress tests using 3D Mark, and everything seems fine. However, I've noticed that the last few NVIDIA drivers haven't helped. I'm curious if anyone else has faced this or if I need to dig deeper into troubleshooting things.
Here are my specs:
- Geforce TUF RTC 4080 Super
- Ryzen 7800X3D
- B650 AORUS ELITE AX
- 32GB RAM
- 850W PSU
Thanks in advance for any advice!

If my PC starts crashing after an upgrade, I usually try disabling XMP (or EXPO) and see if that solves it. It can cause instability in some situations.
Make sure your motherboard’s BIOS is the latest version and that you have updated all necessary AMD chipset drivers. While GPU drivers are important, sometimes they only focus on particular games. I've got a 4080 Super too and I'm still running on an older driver version without issues.
Have you checked if your graphics driver is up to date? Sometimes, an outdated driver can cause crashes with new games.
