Is My PC Ready for an Ultrawide Monitor?

Hey everyone! About two years ago, I built my first PC, and I currently use a 27-inch curved monitor as my main display along with a Portrait 21.5-inch flat screen. I'm considering upgrading to a 34-inch Ultrawide monitor, specifically the Acer Nitro XZ340CUR with a 3440x1440 resolution. I'm a bit worried about whether my PC can handle this new monitor without dropping below 60 fps during my gaming sessions. I'd really appreciate any insights you have!

If you want to play the latest AAA games smoothly, consider upgrading your GPU to something like the RTX 3060 or better. They handle higher resolutions much better and would give you a good gaming experience with that Ultrawide monitor.

It really depends on the types of games you play. Older titles should run fine at 3440x1440, but for newer AAA games, you'll likely need a more powerful GPU to maintain 60+ fps, especially at higher settings.
