Is My PC Upgrade Parts List Solid?

Hey everyone! I haven't upgraded my PC since 2019 and I'm a bit out of the loop on what's good these days. I'm thinking about upgrading my setup because I want to be ready for the upcoming game, BL 4. Right now, I'm using a Ryzen 5 2600, GTX 1660, and 16GB of RAM. I've put together a parts list [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/W3c42x) and I'd love to know if it looks good or if I'm completely off track. Any thoughts?

Just be careful not to pay more than MSRP for the 5070 and the RAM! Although upgrading the CPU is an option, if you're looking to upgrade both the CPU and RAM, it might be wise to do a complete overhaul, especially since your current build is from 2018.

Just be aware that if you get a new GPU like the 5070, it could bottleneck if your motherboard and CPU are outdated. Make sure your new parts are compatible with PCIe standards. I learned the hard way that you can't really upgrade in pieces; it's usually better to go all in when technology moves on so fast!

Did you even see the build the OP shared? It kind of covers a lot of these compatibility issues!

A Microcenter bundle could be a really good option if there's one near you. They often have great deals on components that might fit your needs!

You might want to check out [this bundle](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9N224p) I found on Newegg. It includes a Ryzen 7 7700X and a solid motherboard. You'll also get 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD, plus a game for free! Just a heads up, if you decide on the B650M Gaming Plus, there's a little discount when you add them to your cart.

Instead of overhauling your entire setup, have you considered just swapping out your CPU for a Ryzen 7 5700X3D along with a new GPU? It might save you some cash while still giving you a significant performance boost!
