Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC as it's been cobbled together from old parts and isn't performing as well as I'd like. I've got a list of my current hardware, which you can check out [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/f4JDXR), but just a heads-up, the RAM listed isn't quite right since I'll be replacing it anyway.
My plan is to do a complete overhaul with these new parts: [upgraded parts list](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xMDW74). I'll be keeping the storage, case, PSU, and monitor, so this will mainly be like changing its core components.
I'm on a bit of a budget and not located in the US, so prices can vary a lot. I'm a beginner at this and I'm really unsure if any of the new components will bottleneck each other. I mostly want to use this PC for gaming along with some light content creation like clips and memes—nothing too intense.
Any feedback or suggestions would really help! Thanks in advance!

You might wanna hold off and wait for the 5060 series to drop. They might offer better performance options considering your needs.
With a $1,000+ budget, I wouldn't recommend going for AM4. There are better options out there that could give you more value for your money.
Trust me, skip the AM4 and also avoid the DS3H. Instead, I'd suggest you could get a 9600x, a Peerless Assassin cooler, a decent B650 motherboard, and 32GB of 6000 CL30 RAM for around $480. No need for 64GB unless you’re doing some heavy production work; 32GB should be more than enough for gaming and light content creation. This leaves you with about $420 to spend on a GPU if my math checks out!
No worries at all! It sounds like you're on the right track, just take your time double-checking those parts!
Thanks for the tip! I actually messed up the RAM specs in my post—I'm looking at 32GB now! Also, I'm currently down with a bug so I might be a bit slow with everything, haha. But I’ve updated the GPU and other parts accordingly. Here’s a [better list](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/crNMKq) with the correct specs this time.
