Hey everyone! I recently built a PC primarily for studying AI engineering, training deep learning models, and fine-tuning smaller to mid-sized language models. I'm curious if the power supply unit (PSU) I selected is reliable enough for my components and won't cause any damage. Here's my setup:

- AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
- MSI B650M BOMBER WIFI Micro-ATX (DDR5)
- MSI GeForce RTX 5070 SHADOW 2X OC 12GB
- Biwin Black Opal DW100 RGB DDR5 32GB (16GB x 2) 6000MHz CL28 - AMD EXPO + Intel XMP 3.0
- Crucial P3 Plus 1TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD
- MSI MAG A750BN 750W 80Plus Bronze
- ThermalRight Phantom Spirit 120

Thanks for your advice!

It’ll work, but personally, I wouldn't trust a Bronze PSU with such high-end components. You’ve invested a lot into your hardware, so don’t skimp on the PSU—it’s one of the most crucial parts!

Just a heads up, the P3 Plus uses QLC flash, which might slow down after a few years. You might want to consider SSDs like the WD Blue SN580 or SN5000 instead.

Yes, your PSU will be adequate for this setup.

Your PSU will work fine for your setup, but I’d definitely recommend upgrading to an 80+ Gold PSU for better efficiency and reliability. It’s worth the investment in the long run!

Should I think about upgrading to the MSI MAG A750GL 750W 80Plus Gold? Just finished my build today!

Consider checking out this tier list for PSUs. It’s not always the case that Bronze PSUs are low quality or that Gold ones are top-notch, so it helps to reference it. Since you're running complex models, look into ECC memory and compatible boards. ASUS and ASRock offer good options for that, but MSI and Gigabyte have ECC support only on pricier models. If you're beyond the return window, you might be fine sticking with what you have, no major worries.

Thanks for the advice! I ended up getting the Cool Master MWE GOLD 750 - V2 since it was the best option available.
