Hey everyone! I recently came across a video about checking the ATX version of power supplies, and it got me thinking about my current setup. I have a Cooler Master MWE 600 Bronze V2 that I've had for about five years, and it's rated ATX 2.52. I'm planning to upgrade to an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, but I'm not sure if my PSU will be compatible. Should I stick with my current one, or is it time to look for a new power supply? Thanks a lot for your help!

Yep, 600W is generally good for a 5060 Ti. You should be in the clear!
A 600W power supply should be perfectly fine for the RTX 5060 Ti. It can handle the power draw without any issues!
While your PSU might technically work, it could be cutting it close. The 5060 Ti draws about 180 to 200 watts, and while 600 watts is the minimum, it's better to have some extra headroom. You might consider a bigger supply to be safe, especially if you have other components that draw power too.
I checked with PCPartPicker, and it estimates my total usage at 496W. So I think I have a decent safety margin!
Well, that's only if the rest of your system regularly consumes around 400 watts, which is unlikely. A 600W PSU should be fine with a 5060 Ti and typical hardware.
Glad to hear that! 😀
