Hey everyone! I recently put together my PC and I want to know if my power supply unit (PSU) is enough. I've seen recommendations suggesting to have at least 200 watts more than the max wattage of both the CPU and GPU combined. From my research, the max wattage for my setup, which includes a 7600X and a 5070, is about 755W. So, does that mean I should have gone for a 900W PSU instead? I already purchased a 750W PSU. If it turns out to be insufficient, should I simply lower the settings on most games?

You're more than okay with your 750W PSU! It's a good model and definitely enough wattage for your build.
Wait a sec, how do you figure your max wattage at 755W? The 7600X pulls around 65W, and the 5070 is about 250W, which totals only 315W. If you add another 100W for other components, you're looking at roughly 400-430W max. Trust me, 650W would have been plenty, and 750W is more than you’ll need! Just keep in mind that adding 200W to your total draw is a decent estimation method, though it can be a bit off for extreme cases. I usually aim for 50% more headroom myself, but you're totally set!
The max you really need is about 550W, so 750W gives you plenty of headroom. You won’t have any issues with your setup.
You're totally fine with that 750W PSU. Based on your components, it should handle everything without a problem!
