I recently purchased an AMD Ryzen 9 7900 processor along with a Crucial DDR5 Pro 128 GB RAM kit. The packaging for the RAM states that it "requires AMD Ryzen 8000 Series CPUs and above." Should I be worried that I made a mistake by buying this RAM?

Don't worry too much! While the RAM might say it needs an 8000 Series CPU, any DDR5 RAM should still work with your setup. The real issue is whether you'll get the RAM to perform at the speeds it advertises. You might just have to adjust your expectations for speed.
So it will work but probably slower? No chance of it damaging anything, right?
