I've had my Xbox Series S for about six years, and it's been sitting in a drawer this whole time. My friend, who mostly uses a PC, claims that this might be harmful to it. I haven't had any issues so far, but should I consider moving it to a better spot? Any advice would be appreciated!

Keeping your Xbox in a drawer isn't ideal, but if it's been working fine for six years, it sounds like it's not too big of a problem. Just make sure there's enough airflow. Do you at least open the drawer when you play?
It's not a great situation for your console. Better airflow could extend its lifespan, so if you can, try to find a more open spot for it. It might help prevent overheating in the long run.
Six years in a drawer and still running is impressive! As long as it's not getting too hot when you play, you should be fine. Just keep an eye on it, and maybe consider moving it to a spot with better airflow for peace of mind.
It does get kinda warm after a few hours, but I just use a cooled towel to help.

Yeah, my friend suggested that too. I usually do!
