I've been curious about how many of you actually use Oracle Cloud, especially after their stock went up recently. I tried it briefly a few years back and didn't really see what made it stand out compared to other cloud services. What has changed recently that's driving their stock price higher? Is it really worth it?

We did move some of our development work there since it's a lot cheaper than AWS. That said, I still think their support is awful. It's a mixed bag!
I've had nothing but bad experiences with Oracle Cloud. I tried using their managed database to replace Amazon RDS, but they kept messing with my database. Plus, when I asked about a breach, they were dishonest for weeks. Overall, they show a lot of promise but I can't recommend them based on my trials.
Honestly, not much has changed with Oracle Cloud. They’ve added a bunch of AI services, but their growth isn't really about new innovations. We avoid it due to Oracle's shady history with contracts and privacy issues. So, to sum it up, it feels more like an AI hype than real progress.
In my experience, Oracle Cloud has been terrible, and their customer support is even worse. I wouldn't recommend it.
Same here! I had a rough time trying to get help; it felt like they just didn’t care.
