Hey everyone! I'm currently studying programming at university, and we're using Spring Boot with Java for the backend and React with Vite for the frontend. I'm curious to know if these skills are in demand for real-world projects. Are they a good combination to start with in web development?

Java is definitely a solid choice, but have you considered Kotlin? It's cleaner and has advantages over Java, especially when using Spring Boot. As for front end, React with Redux and TypeScript is kind of the standard nowadays, so you're on the right track!
Absolutely, Spring Boot and React make a great combo! They are both widely used in the industry. If you're comfortable with Java, Spring Boot is a robust choice for the backend. And React is super popular for building dynamic user interfaces. Just keep practicing, and you'll find plenty of opportunities to use these skills!
That's good to know! I'm worried about getting stuck with outdated technologies, so it's comforting to hear they're still in demand.
True, but I think Java is still more prevalent and job-friendly. Unless you're doing Android development, I'd stick with Java for now.
