I'm considering upgrading from my old RX 570 as it's starting to struggle with newer games. I have some trade-in items that will cover the cost of an RTX 2070 completely. However, I've noticed that the cheapest RTX 3060 Ti is only about $40-$50 more. I game on a 1080p monitor and would like to avoid bottlenecking my CPU too much or needing a new PSU, as I'm a busy and broke student. There's also the option of a 2070 Super in the middle. Any thoughts? Thanks for your advice! Here are my current specs for context:
- Ryzen 5 2600
- RX 570 4GB
- 2x8GB 3200MHz DDR4
- 500W 80+ Bronze PSU.

I'd go for the 3060 Ti every time for that little extra. It offers performance that matches or even surpasses the 2080 Super, which is quite a step up from the 2070. Plus, ray tracing performance won't drop off as much with the 3060 Ti, making it a great choice for future-proofing your setup.

That's good to hear! I was worried about power consumption with a higher-end card. Does the brand of the 3060 Ti matter much? There's a cheaper one called AFOX that I'm considering.
