I'm currently using an i9-9900K with an RTX 3080, but I've been facing some issues with my GPU. After a couple of hours of gaming or browsing, my screen starts to flicker, and I see these annoying purple and white squares all over. I'm considering an upgrade and have heard mixed opinions about the new graphics cards. Some say the 5000 series is better than the 4000 series, while others suggest otherwise. Can anyone clarify this for me?

Honestly, the 5000 series is the way to go. It's just got better features overall, and if you're looking to upgrade, you should definitely stick with the latest generation.

In some marketing, they made it sound like a 5070 could perform like a 4090 with stuff like AI frame generation. But when you look at raw performance, it's not a huge leap from the 4000 series. Just pick what fits your budget!
