I'm looking to build a PC with a 5070 graphics card, as the prices for 4060s are just too high right now. I'm considering pairing it with an Intel 13700F, or maybe even a 12900K that I currently have in another setup. However, I don't have much experience with the latest Intel chips since my past builds were on older generations. I've used a 6th gen i7 with a 3060 and an 11th gen i5 with a 3050, but that's about it. I haven't found many benchmarks that show how the standard 5070 performs with Intel CPUs, and right now, AMD options are out of my budget.

What's your budget looking like? The 12700KF is pretty cheap at $154 on Amazon and would work well with a 5070. Plus, Z790 boards are affordable right now too! Here's a rough build:
CPU: Intel Core i7-12700KF - $154
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 - $124
Memory: PNY XLR8 32GB DDR4-3600 - $40
That's a total of about $318.14! Pretty solid all-around.
Why not just swap a 5070 into your 12900K setup if you have it? That could be an easy upgrade.
I actually have two different computers at my parents' houses, so I need two setups. Plus, my 4070 build has been doing great, and it's only been less than a year since I got it.
My budget is around $1650 right now. I have a Kraken Elite 280 in my current build which makes my list stretch a bit, but I'm thinking of switching to a simpler air cooler to save some cash.
