Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a gaming rig and I'm considering pairing an AMD Ryzen 7700X with an AMD Radeon 9070XT for 1440p gaming. My main goal is to invest wisely in a solid GPU without overspending on the CPU. Do you think the 7700X is sufficient for this setup, or would I be better off investing in the 7800X3D, even though it costs over $100 more?

It really depends on what you’re using your rig for. If it’s primarily gaming at 1440p, the 7700X should hold up well with the 9070XT. It's a solid combination for that resolution!
Honestly, it's a great combo! You’ll definitely get good performance out of a 7700X and 9070XT setup for 1440p.
If you're looking to play mostly at 1440p, the 7700X is a good choice, although if you were gaming at 1080p, I’d suggest the 7800X3D instead. You could also consider the 9700X as a nice in-between option if you're unsure.
Definitely aiming for 1440p gaming, so that's reassuring!
Yep, you’ll be just fine with that pair for 1440p gaming!
That’s great to know! I really want this setup mainly for gaming.
