I'm considering pairing a 9060xt 16GB graphics card with an i7-11700F processor primarily for gaming at 1080p resolution. Do you think this setup will perform well?

The GPU is great, but the CPU might hold you back in more CPU-intensive games. What's the refresh rate of your monitor, and what frame rates are you aiming for? Depending on the games you play, higher resolutions could help offset that bottleneck as the GPU will have to work harder for those frames. You might want to check out some YouTube videos showcasing that CPU's performance in popular titles.
Definitely a solid choice for 1080p gaming! Just keep an eye on the price compared to other options out there.
If you're open to alternatives, the AM4 platform has some great options like the 5600x or 5700x which might give you better performance overall.
I already have the i7-11700F, so I’m sticking with that for now.
