Is the 9070XT or 5070Ti the Better Upgrade for My Setup?

I'm considering an upgrade from my nearly four-year-old 3060Ti. The 9070XT seems to be very popular and a solid card, but I've heard the overall performance of the 5070Ti is better. Right now, I'm seeing the 9070XT priced at about £570, while the 5070Ti ranges from £650 to £700. Money isn't a huge issue for me, but saving a bit would help since I also need to upgrade my 650W PSU. I'm using a Ryzen 5 5600X, which I plan to upgrade as well. I mainly play games like Baldur's Gate, Warhammer, and Battlefield on high settings at 1440p. Am I overthinking this, or is there a better option out there?

Right? It's hard to choose! I usually stick with NVIDIA, but the 9070XT looks great after seeing all those comparison reviews.

There's definitely a noticeable price difference, yet their performance is almost on par. The 9070XT seems like a smart choice! I've been eyeing the Sapphire Pure myself.

This question definitely pops up a lot! Basically, the performance of the 9070XT is just a tad below the 5070Ti. If you're not concerned about CUDA compatibility (and it sounds like you're not), it could come down to whether you're okay saving around 20% for a slightly lower performance. It's a common trade-off!

Totally! After digging through reviews, I'm leaning towards the 9070XT too. That savings could go towards a new power supply.

If money matters, go for the 9070XT. But if you're okay with spending a bit more for the 5070Ti’s DLSS features and slightly better path tracing capability (around a 6% performance boost), then go with that one. Really depends on your gaming needs!
