I'm thinking about getting the 9800X3D CPU since I do both video editing and gaming, but I'm not sure if it's powerful enough for 4K editing. Should I go for the 9900X instead, or will the 9800X3D work just fine? I'm also planning to pair it with a 5070 Ti or 5080 in the next year.

Instead of waiting, consider getting a 9600X with a 5060 Ti. The AM5 platform does make future upgrades easier. Plus, the generational jump in GPU performance is significant these days!
