I'm currently using an RTX 4070 graphics card and considering an upgrade from my i5-12400F. The 7800X3D and 9800X3D both caught my eye, and there's only about a $125 price difference between them. Given that I primarily game at 1440p, do you think it's worth it to spend more on the 9800X3D for a game like CS2?

If you're comfortable with the extra cash, the 9800X3D would be a solid choice. But honestly, the 7800X3D is quite capable. For the price difference, I don't think it's a necessary upgrade for CS2.
