Is the ASUS 4070 Super 12GB Worth It for 4K Gaming?

Hey everyone! I'm making the switch to a small form factor PC to fit under my S90C, and I found an ASUS 4070 Super OC for $650. I'm coming from a 3070, which is really struggling for me, and I want something that can handle last-gen games at 4K120 smoothly. Now, I've realized the seller listed it as a 16GB version, but I just checked and it's actually the 12GB one. Given this, do you think it's a good deal, or should I consider other options in that price range? Thanks for your help!

Just a heads up, there isn't a 16GB version of the 4070 Super. If anything, the 4070 Ti Super comes with 16GB. But you should look into the 5070 series too; it's priced around $550 and offers slightly better performance than the 4070 Super.

You're right about the 12GB VRAM for the 4070 Super. If that was your intention, then $650 is reasonable for a used one. However, for around $700-$750, you could get a brand new 9070XT which might be worth considering if you want more power. If you're sticking to $650, the regular 9070 is also a solid choice.

Thanks for the information! I asked the seller for clarification on whether it's a Ti or the 12GB version.

Good idea! Let us know what they say! Also, keep an eye on SKU just in case.
