Is the ASUS B850-A ROG Strix Gaming Wifi a Good Choice for My New PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building a new PC and I've been considering the ASUS B850-A ROG Strix Gaming Wifi, which I've seen on sale for $209. I'm aiming for a black and white theme in my build. I recently picked up a Ryzen 7 7800X3D for $340 and got an RTX 3070 from a friend. After two days of searching, I'm still deciding on the right motherboard. I'm open to any suggestions, especially if there's a better board for the same or less money. Just a heads up, I'm not interested in ASRock due to some issues I've heard about their products lately. Thanks for your input!

If you’re set on a white build, check out the Gigabyte 850 Aorus Elite—it’s currently $40 off at Newegg. I think it's pretty comparable to the B850-A, but I’d recommend checking the specs to see which one suits you better.

Both have similar power phases, and if you're going for the white aesthetic in a white case, it’s a solid choice. Just a bit of a premium for the looks!

You might want to check out if any X870 boards are available for around the same price. I've recently had positive experiences with an Asus AYW X870. Just a heads up, there were some issues with ASRock boards, but I haven't personally had trouble once I updated the BIOS.

I found an AYW X870 for just $10 more than the Strix B850-A. Do you think it's better or worse than the Strix? I'm trying to build something solid that will last.
