Is the Asus TUF 5070 Ti OC Worth the Extra Cost Over the Prime OC?

I'm planning to upgrade my GPU and have zeroed in on the Asus 5070 Ti. However, I'm torn between the TUF Gaming variant and the Prime OC. The TUF is about $250 more expensive, and I get that the main difference is the cooling system. How important is this cooling for gaming? Is there a significant performance gain that justifies the extra cost? I'm concerned about longevity; will the TUF last longer than the Prime version enough to make this premium worth it?

Honestly, the decision might depend more on your room's temperature and your case's airflow than on how heavy your games are. The likelihood of the TUF staying cool enough to not throttle is relatively slim when compared to other brands. So, if you're gaming in a well-ventilated area, the TUF may not be worth the bump in price for you.

I think the TUF does come with some better specs like extra capacitors and VRMs, but not enough for the extra cash you're shelling out. For most gamers, these upgrades won't make a noticeable difference. You might want to save that money unless you have specific cooling needs.

Thanks! I’ll probably stick with the Prime OC then.
