I've been using the Gigabyte B650E AORUS ELITE X AX ICE for about a year and a half, and I've really liked it. Unfortunately, I bricked the RGB controller and need to send the board back for repairs. In the meantime, I'm considering getting a new motherboard.
I'm torn between getting the same B650E motherboard again or upgrading to a newer chipset. One of my must-haves is that the new board has to be white, since my whole setup is themed that way. Here are a few options I'm looking at:
* GIGABYTE B850 EAGLE WIFI7 ICE
* GIGABYTE X870 AORUS ELITE X3D ICE
* GIGABYTE X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE
* GIGABYTE X870E AORUS PRO ICE
I'm open to other brands, but I've mainly found white boards from Gigabyte. Can anyone recommend one of these instead of sticking with the B650E? What are the key differences, and would switching to a newer chipset actually benefit me with my current components? I'd recommend the B850 AORUS ELITE ICE if you want something solid without going overboard. It's got great features, and from what I hear, it performs really well. Plus, it looks sleek! Honestly, I think the X670 and X870 boards might just be overkill unless you're planning to push the limits of your setup. If you're happy with the B650E, just stick with a reliable board that meets your needs.

I didn’t even know the B850 AORUS ELITE ICE existed! It seems like a solid choice if you're looking for something new. The only drawback might be the aesthetics, since the B850 EAGLE isn't as nice visually as the B650 lineup.
