Is the Corsair RM850e Power Supply a Good Choice?

I'm considering upgrading my power supply to the Corsair RM850e because my current generic one has been running for over two years. However, I've come across several complaints about this model. Since warranty options in my country are limited to three months, I'm worried. Would it be wise to invest in the Corsair RM850e, or should I steer clear?

If you can find the Montech Century II 850W, it's often cheaper and comparable, maybe even a little better than the RM850e. It's fine, but not as high-end as Corsair's X series, which is where they really shine.

That’s interesting! I heard the Montech had some issues though. The Corsair RM750e seemed to do better in tests.

The Corsair RM850e can be decent, but its worth depends heavily on the price. If there's a good alternative like the Montech Century II at a similar or lower cost, that might be a better pick. You might want to check out some PSU tier lists to compare options better.
