I'm building my first PC and I'm wondering if the Intel i5 14400 paired with a GeForce RTX 3050 8GB is a good setup, especially with 32GB of RAM. If it's not ideal, what other graphics card options would fit my budget while offering better performance?

The RTX 3050 is really the weak link in this setup. While everything will work together, you're definitely missing out on a lot of potential performance by using that GPU. It's worth considering something stronger for better gaming experience.

A 9060 XT could definitely boost your performance way beyond the 3050. It's worth checking out!

You might want to look into the RX 9060 for better performance if that's within your budget!

The RTX 3050 is the least powerful option in the 30 series lineup. If you're looking for something that performs better, especially at 1440p, consider GPUs with more VRAM and power, like the RTX 3070, 3080, or even the RX 6700 XT.

Totally agree! For a good balance, you might want to check out the RTX 4060 or 4070 options too.

That CPU can definitely handle a more powerful GPU than the 3050. What’s your budget for a graphics card? With a little more investment, you can get something that truly complements the i5 14400.
