I'm considering installing Linux Mint on my Lenovo ThinkCenter M92P, which has an Intel Core i5-3470T processor, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and 256GB of SATA storage. It also supports multiple displays through VGA and DisplayPort connections. This PC will primarily be used for internet browsing, and I might explore Fedora later on. Is this setup good for running Linux Mint?

The specs aren't cutting-edge, but the CPU should handle basic internet tasks without too much trouble.
I'm running Zorin Pro on mine, and it works like a charm. Your setup should handle media and internet tasks well.
Just a heads up, keep your tabs to a minimum with only 8GB of RAM, especially since you're using integrated graphics!
You should be good to go! If you notice it lagging, you might want to try lighter distros like Lubuntu or MX Linux XFCE.
I've used multiple distros on older systems, and Mint runs fine on similar setups. Your Ivy Bridge CPU is better than a lot of newer Windows setups, which tend to be bloated.

Yeah, I had a similar experience. Those alternatives run super smooth on older hardware!
