I'm currently using an R5 3500X, and it's bottlenecking my RX 6750 XT in several games, especially the remastered version of Horizon Zero Dawn, which runs my CPU at 100% and causes stuttering. I'm sticking with an AM4 setup for now, and I'm considering upgrading to either the R5 5500 or R5 5600. The prices here in Hungary are €80 for the 5500 and €130 for the 5600. I don't want to spend more than €150-160 unless it's absolutely worth it. My goal is to avoid bottlenecks for at least the next 1-2 years while gaming at 1080p. By the way, I also have 16GB of DDR4 RAM. What do you think?

If you're looking for long-term performance, I'd definitely recommend against the 5500. It's cheaper for a reason and really only a slight upgrade from your 3500X. The 5600 is decent but it's also getting a bit old as a 6-core processor. If you can save up just a bit more and go for a 5800X, you'll get more cores and better performance over time, especially with how games are starting to utilize more cores now. Just a thought!

True, but doesn't the 5800X cost a chunk more? It's hard to justify spending so much and still not getting a massive jump in performance right now.
