I'm currently using a GTX 1080 and I'm looking to upgrade. I initially wanted a graphics card with at least 16GB of VRAM for future-proofing, but the options I like (RTX 5070 Ti and RX 9070 XT) are way out of my budget. Right now, the best choice for me is the RTX 5070, which costs around 528€.
I primarily game at 1080p with a 144Hz refresh rate and don't plan on moving to 1440p anytime soon. I'm not too concerned about ray tracing, but I'm interested in DLSS for performance. I just want a GPU that can last me for at least the next five years. Given this, is the RTX 5070 a reasonable choice?

Honestly, for 1080p, the 5070 is a great card, especially at MSRP. Just remember that while it offers decent performance, the RX 9070 is only slightly better if you can find a good deal. Keep checking for sales on used cards too; I stumbled upon a used 9070 for the same price as a new 5070!
