Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I'm torn between the RTX 5070 and the 5070 Ti. I've watched a ton of benchmarks and I'm leaning towards the RTX 5070, but I know the Ti model performs better, especially for 1440p in multiplayer games like Fortnite, Call of Duty Warzone, Apex Legends, World of Warcraft, and Assetto Corsa Evo. I'm really just looking to enjoy beautiful graphics at high settings using DLSS and Lumen. My plan is to keep the card for two years.
So, I'm curious, do you think it will be tough to sell the RTX 5070 in two years due to its 12 GB VRAM?

Honestly, resale value shouldn't be your main concern when buying a GPU. The initial price difference can make comparative resale tough. Focus on what you want to enjoy now!
My magic 8-ball says it’s a toss-up! One day it says yes, the next it says no. That really doesn't help, does it?
I doubt it will be a tough sell. The 5070 has more than 8 GB, and that's still enough for a lot of current games, which is a big plus!
If super variants come out with more VRAM, the resale value for the RTX 5070 might drop, so keep that in mind when you plan to sell it down the line.
It's hard to predict! The resale market really depends on what you expect to sell it for. If you're worried about selling it later, why buy a card if you only plan to sell in two years?
I get that! But since games today are pushing past 12 GB, it could make selling a bit tricky later on. I'm not too worried for myself since I’m not playing those demanding games, but it’s something to consider with potential buyers in a couple of years.
