I'm looking to game primarily on League, Valorant, and some Steam titles with friends, like Lethal Company and PEAK. I'm not too worried about AAA titles, but I want to make sure I can enjoy my games at a stable FPS. Would the RX 580 8GB still hold up in 2025 for this type of gaming? If not, are there better alternatives out there?

If you can, it might be worth considering something newer like the 5600 XT or 5700 XT. Prices generally sit around $80-120, and they'll give you a bit more oomph for future titles.

True, but keep in mind that without mesh shaders or ray tracing, some newer games in 2025 might not run as well. Just something to consider!

The RX 580 8GB is still a solid budget option, especially if you're playing at 1080p. It's capable of handling games like League and Valorant without any issues, so if you're lucky enough to find one for a good price, go for it!
