I'm considering getting a second-hand RX 580 for 1000 MXN (about $50) to boost my gaming experience. I built my PC a couple of years ago with an AMD kit, and I'm still not very experienced with PC builds. I'm hoping to play games at decent quality in 1080p. I'm saving up for a new PC but I'm tempted by this deal. Do you think the RX 580 can provide good value for a few months while I save for an upgrade?

What CPU do you have? The RX 580 isn't a bad card and could definitely keep you going for the time being, at least until you can save up for something better.
If you can stretch your budget, look for an RX 6600 for around $120 used. It’s a stronger card and might be worth the investment for the future, but I know that's pushing it a bit.
You might be able to snag it for cheaper! I’ve seen these cards go for around $20-$25 in local marketplaces, especially if you just need it for video output.
That's surprising! This is the best price I've found so far.
What GPU are you currently using? If it's something integrated or older, then the RX 580 would definitely give you a boost for 1080p gaming!
It's the one that came with the kit. I just have the AMD 4700s.
Honestly, I'd pass on the RX 580. It has some issues with DirectX 12 games due to missing features. If you can, look for an Nvidia card instead; something like a GTX 16 series could be a better option.
That sounds good, but I worry it'll bottleneck since my kit has a PCIe 2.0.

Still just the AMD 4700s that came with the kit.
