Hey everyone! I'm currently running a Ryzen 5 5600X with a Radeon 6600XT and a 500W power supply. I've recently gotten a 1440p monitor, but I'm finding the performance with the 6600XT just isn't cutting it for the games I enjoy, like Tainted Grail: Avalon, Ready or Not, Metro Exodus, Nobody Wants to Die, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. I found a used bundle for an RX6900XT and a Gigabyte P1000GM 1000W power supply for $440. I know I need a more powerful PSU, so I'm wondering if this combo is a good deal and if it will allow me to play the latest titles above 60fps on medium to high settings at 1440p. Also, I'm planning on using this setup for about three years before upgrading again. Will it still be efficient during that time? Thanks for any input!

For that price, consider hunting down a 9060XT 16GB instead. It's got a lower power draw and newer features, plus it comes with a warranty. On paper, the 9060XT may be slightly weaker, but in real-world gaming, they tend to perform similarly, especially with FSR4. Plus, you'll save a bit on your power bill.
If you're aiming for 1440p with new AAA games, you're going to want some form of upscaling. AMD isn't backing older cards with the latest FSR versions, and their support isn't as strong as Nvidia's DLSS. If you can, try to snag a 4070 or a 4070Ti for around $450 to $500 along with a nice 650W PSU. The 6900XT is starting to show its age, having been around for about six years with no active support anymore.
The RX6900XT pulls around 77fps in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. That's better than the 5060TI. But watch out for your power supply; that model had issues in early batches, so ensure yours isn’t one of those. Alternatively, a new 9060XT is around $430, offers similar performance, and has a lower power demand, needing just a 500W PSU.
The seller said it’s been used for a couple of years without any problems, so I think it should be safe. Prices for new cards here are pretty steep, which is why I’m considering older models. 77fps sounds perfect for me in KC2. Thanks for the info!
Good call! Just make sure to double-check the PSU model before you finalize the deal.

Don't forget, not every game supports FSR4. The 6900XT is much more powerful in raw performance, but it's a real power hog.
