I'm curious if the Ryzen 5 3600 will bottleneck a graphics card like the 5070. Are there any benchmarks or experiences that could shed light on this?

Absolutely, especially if you're gaming at higher resolutions like 1440p. A better CPU would help, something like a used 5800x3d could be a great upgrade alongside the 5070.

Yes, a solid choice! Also, the 5700x3d could be a good option too.

If you're mostly playing AAA titles at around 60 fps, you'll get by with the 3600. However, newer games, especially those using Unreal Engine 5, might pose some challenges with stutters even on better CPUs.

Definitely, but it's good to know you can still use the 3600 for a while before upgrading!

Exactly! It's always a balance between performance and budgets.

Yeah, I'd say it's likely. The Ryzen 5 3600 was a great chip back in the day, but with newer technology, it might hold back what the 5070 can do. It really depends on the game and resolution you're playing at.

Good point! That processor served a lot of users really well for a long time.

I agree! If you're serious about gaming with the 5070, you might want to consider an upgrade.
