I'm on a tight budget that doesn't allow for purchasing a separate GPU right now. I'm curious if the Ryzen 5 5600G is a worthwhile investment for a PC setup or if there's a better CPU with integrated graphics I should consider instead.

What’s your budget and where are you located? If a new GPU isn't in the cards, consider looking for a cheap used one. A GPU like the 1660 Ti or 1070 can usually be found at a decent price and would significantly boost performance compared to just relying on the 5600G.
The Ryzen 5 5600G isn't the best out there, but it really depends on what you're planning to do with it. If you're mostly using it for office tasks, it should be fine. But if gaming is part of your plan, you'll need to think about the types of games you play.
It's not terrible! For low-demand games like RDR2, you can hit around 40fps at 1600x900 with everything set to low. So it can definitely still be playable if your expectations are reasonable.
I'm in Iraq, and my budget tops out at $400.
