Is the Ryzen 7 3700X and GeForce 3080 Ti a Good Pairing for My Build?

Hey everyone! My GPU just crapped out a few weeks ago, and I have a friend offering me a setup that includes a Ryzen 7 3700X and a GeForce 3080 Ti 12 GB. Along with that, I'm getting an Asus Prime 570X Pro motherboard, 32 GB of Trident Royal RAM, a stock CPU cooler, and I already have an MSI MAG 850 watt PSU and a NZXT H5 Flow 2024 case with three extra fans. Storage isn't included in this setup. I'm thinking this combination will hold me over until I can upgrade the CPU and cooler. Do you think this setup will run into any problems?

You'll probably experience some CPU bottlenecking with the 3700X, especially in CPU-intensive games. But overall, it should handle things decently while you plan an upgrade.

Yeah, upgrading to a 5700X3D or 5800X3D later on would definitely boost your performance!

It's a solid combo for 1440p gaming. Just keep in mind that upgrading to AM5 will be worth it down the line for better performance, but I get that the price is steep right now.

Haha, I plan to stick with AM4 for a while. My last rig was an older i7 and lasted me forever. An upgrade will come when I can afford it!
