Hey everyone! I'm considering getting a Ryzen 7 7700X to pair with a 5070 Ti. I want to make sure that my CPU won't bottleneck the GPU, especially since I'm looking to do some VR game development. Do you think I should stick with the 7700X, or is there a better option out there?

You really don’t have to worry. Any AMD 7000 or 9000 series chip won’t bottleneck a 5070 Ti. Lately, the 9600X is also quite affordable if you want to consider another option. But if you’re seriously considering a high-performance CPU, the 9800X3D is currently a top-tier choice for gaming.
I’d suggest the 9600X, it's a solid choice. If you're near a Micro Center, you might find the 7600X3D or the 9800X3D as perfect options for gaming.
You might see a slight bottleneck at 1080p, but once you hit 1440p or higher, it’s a perfect match for your GPU!
If you're gaming at 1440p or 4K, you're in good shape with that setup. It should totally handle more demanding games without issues.
This combo is awesome for 1440p and 4K gaming! It’d be a waste to use a 5070 Ti for just 1080p because that would be overkill. Go for it!
Thanks!!
