Is the Silicon Power UD90 SSD a Good Choice for My PC?

I'm looking to upgrade my PC with a 2TB SSD and considering the Silicon Power UD90, but I've heard mixed reviews about its heat management. If I get a separate heatsink, will that resolve the heat issues? Is it worth buying in general?

Honestly, I’d skip the UD90. It's QLC, which isn’t great. You’d be better off with a DRAM-less TLC SSD or one with DRAM. I found a handy spreadsheet for SSD quality; just avoid the red ones!

I'd say no way on that one. They quietly switched it to QLC, which makes it less reliable. Look for SSDs that still use TLC instead!

What’s the price on it? It's a Gen 4 SSD, so I doubt it'll overheat unless your GPU is seriously heating everything up around it. Might want to keep that in mind!

I'm looking at around $130 CAD for it.
