I found the Zotac Solid Core 5070 Ti offered at a near MSRP price, and I'm curious about its performance, noise levels, and temperatures. Is it a solid choice, or should I consider spending more on a different model?

Yeah, it should be fine! Zotac tends to produce reliable cards, so you should have a good experience with the Solid Core.
I previously owned the Zotac 4080 Super and now have the 5090. Both were great, and I'd definitely buy from Zotac again. Their cards perform really well!
Do you have the Infinity model or the Solid Core version?
