I'm upgrading my prebuilt PC and just swapped out the 7600 for a 7800X3D on an ASRock B650M-C motherboard. Everything seems to be running smoothly, but I've read some concerns about ASRock motherboards possibly frying X3D CPUs. Should I be worried? Do I need to update the BIOS or take other precautions?

I've been following this topic too, and it sounds like the 7800X3D isn't typically affected by those issues. I built my setup with an ASRock board and a 9800X3D, and it's been running fine without any problems. You should be good to go!
From what I know, only the 9800X3D was reported to have issues with ASRock boards. The 7800X3D seems to be safe, but just keep an eye on temperatures and performance. Also, if you haven't updated your BIOS yet, it might be worth checking for updates just to be secure!

Awesome, thanks for reassuring me!
